In theory yes. It takes years of research to do it properly. If you have something simple, such as a fluorescence detector, then connecting this detector would not be difficult – we have never tried. Fluorescence detector on its own costs ca. USD 10,000.
We have had some ask about connecting a mass spectrometer. Mass spec detectors are technically very sophisticated and complex running under extreme vacuum, costing tens of thousands of dollars. If someone needs a mass spec detector, then we recommend inquiring with a company that already has that technically solved.
